2022-2023 Registration Now Open

South Windsor Public Schools is excited to welcome new students for the 2022-2023 school year! We are looking forward to the beginning of a collaborative partnership between home and school in order to provide a successful transition for both your child and your family. The first day of school is August 31, 2022, but we urge families to get students registered by no later than August 1 in order to plan classrooms and finalize bus routes. 

Helpful tips for registration:

 Any child who will be five (5) years of age on or before January 1, 2023 and meets all residency requirements is eligible to begin Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year.

 If your child is transferring from another school, it is helpful to have their academic records transferred to the new school as soon as possible (particularly for students in grades 6--12).

 The Health Assessment Form and Immunization Records must be provided to the school nurse prior to the first day of school. It is helpful to submit with registration documents, but is not required to compete registration. However, students will not be permitted to attend school until the health information has been provided. More information is available here.
